We are seeking an experienced, professional and well-motivated individual to undertake a full range of duties within the Strategic Housing Team.  Working across Herefordshire your key objectives will be to drive the development and delivery of affordable housing.  The role will support the discharge of the council’s statutory duties as a strategic housing authority through the application of current specialist housing legislation, policy and good practice, guiding multiple schemes and proposals through the complexity of housing and planning law.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working in housing development, strategy or planning, preferably within a local authority.  You will be an effective communicator, confident working alongside and negotiating with senior leaders, elected representatives and the public, private and voluntary sector.
