The Role
31.25 Hours per Week
Fixed term contract until 17 July 2020 initially (subject to student funding)
Required Immediately
31 hours 15 minutes per week
Term-Time Only + 1 week
Salary Band D, Points 4-5 (starting on Point 4 - £13,269 actual salary)
We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our excellent large team of IEN staff, working closely with the class teachers and SENDCO in a supportive role. We have more than one post available, which could include assisting with the physical and medical needs, personal care and welfare of students. Please could you indicate whether you are willing to participate in this type of personal care.
You will be enthusiastic, have good interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and want the very best for our students. This is an exciting opportunity for committed individuals looking to start/continue their career, or gain experience working in schools in a rewarding role. We offer a fantastic step into teaching, and we have a successful track record of supporting progression. If you have experience of, or an interest in, working with young people aged 11–18, particularly those with particular individual needs, and can demonstrate a calm and steady manner, effective communication and be a positive role model, we would welcome your application.
