Walsall Council is transforming how it works. Developing technologies, customer expectations and external budget pressures mean we need to modernise and rethink how we deliver our services.

We are recruiting an ICT Programme & Project Officer to join our ICT Programme Management Office (PMO) Team, tasked with supporting the PMO function, whilst also delivering small/medium Projects and Services to ensure Walsall Council continues to have an ICT infrastructure fit for the future.

You role will be to support the successful delivery of complex ICT programmes and projects by providing project expertise to develop appropriate programme and project tracking requirements in accordance with best practice approaches for programme and project management.

To succeed you must be able to evidence the clear and logical application of Prince2 project management methodology through a track record of delivery of small to medium sized projects.
