Minibus driver, Wyre Forest Day Services 

Salary: £9.36 hour rising to £9.55 hour
A Fixed Term Contract, this is a rolling contract with potential to be extended to March 2021 and beyond. 
17.5 (Circa) hours per week


Applicants must be a minimum of 21years of age.
Hold a licence category D1
Demonstrate evidence of experience of driving appropriate vehicles.
This driver position involves collecting and dropping off adults attending Wyre Forest Day Services, Kidderminster.


The minibus is parked at Baxter College, Habberley Road Kidderminster DY11RPQ
The role involves working on a split shift to bring in adults with a disability of a morning and return them home in the afternoon.


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic,flexible individual who is calm under pressure with good communication and people skills with regard to adults with a disability. You will need to be a team player working closely with the Passenger Assistant transporting adults with an enhanced care requirement, ensuring their comfort and safety.


A key task in this role is to physically assist clients as necessary to and from the vehicle and help them on and off the minibus by means of step or the vehicle lift according to level of need.
Candidates require the ability to undertake moderate physical activity sometimes in a confined space
A full package of training will be provided to support you in this specialist role of minibus driver should you be successful.
