Facilities Assistant

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant/Handyperson to join this new and exciting Academy.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for supporting in the upkeep of Quest Academy School and with specific responsibilities for general maintenance, site security and cleaning.

You will need to have awareness of health and safety and cleanliness in the workplace and have experience of carrying out general unskilled maintenance.

Hours are 38 hours per week: Mon – Thur 7am – 3pm (1/2 hour unpaid break), Fri 7am – 3.30pm (1/2 hour unpaid break)

Key Requirements

Previous experience of working within a school and holding an Apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent in cleaning or any other relevant trade would also be desirable.
