School Secretary
St. Edward’s CE Academy, Cheddleton
Hours: 25 hours per week – Term Time plus 2 weeks (to be worked in academy holidays) 9am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch break.
Start Date: Jan 2020
Salary: Grade 5 (£19,171 - £20,344) Pro rata starting salary £12,150 p.a.

St. Edward’s CE Academy, Cheddleton is a first school of 217 pupils aged between 4 and 9 years of age and is part of Staffordshire University Academies Trust. The academy also has a nursery on site. The academy is committed to its Christian values and is distinct in its culture, striving to include and develop all people, aiming for the very highest; always looking for the next step to improve. Due to the resignation of the Bursar the academy is reorganising and seeking to appoint a School Secretary to start in Jan 2020. Under the guidance of the Principal, the role will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes within the academy. The ideal candidate will be of a cheerful disposition with a ‘can do’ approach and ability to work constructively as part of a team.
