Social Workers: Community Assessment Recovery Service

Level 2: £24,799 – £27,905 (SCP 19 – 24)

Level 3: £28,785 – £33,878 (SCP 25 – 30), plus 2 increments up to £34,788 (SCP 32) with Approved Mental Health Professional status

The service operates 9am – 5 pm Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

Location:  North Team, New Brook, Prince of Wales Community Hospital, Bromsgrove and South Team, Studdert Kennedy House, Spring Gardens, Worcester with travel community-based and some county-based travel

The Community Assessment Recovery Service (CARS) is a future focused, person centred team who deliver a variety of quality based therapeutic interventions and experienced based care to the people of Worcestershire.  We have adopted a personalised and co-production recovery approach in keeping with best practices.  The service is led by a passionate leader who inspires their team and supports them to grow and develop. The service is currently working towards accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatry to standardise care delivery across the county and was awarded ‘Good’ status by CQC in January 2018

Our social workers work with partner agencies within an integrated health and health and social care environment to provide collaborative interventions and care packages. They hold a varied and fast paced work load and promote and enable recovery for people with severe and / or enduring mental health challenges.
