CLEANER

Grade:   1

Salary:  SET Grade 1 £9 per hour, £3968.00 per annum (including paid annual leave), £330.67 per month

Type:  Permanent

Weeks:   Term Time only (38 weeks) + 5 insets days = 39 weeks

Location: Meadows Primary School, Madeley

Required: January 2020  

We wish to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic, trustworthy and committed cleaner to join our team who will ensure the delivery of a high-quality cleaning service.

Main duties:
* Cleaning designated areas to the standard required
* Undertake mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, of the designated area
* Cleaning of toilets and emptying bins
* Cleaning with due care to health and safety

* Undertake responsibility for maintaining all cleaning materials and ensuring COSHH standards and procedures are followed at all times.

To succeed in this role the candidate will need to:
* Be able to understand verbal and written instructions.

* Be able to work on your own initiative and to prioritise your work.
* Be well motivated and able to work flexibly, unsupervised or as part of a team Have a basic knowledge of health and safety
* Be able to stand, bend and stretch to do a variety of cleaning duties including moving cleaning equipment

Work Pattern
10 hours per week - 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm Monday to Friday
