Governors and the Senior Leadership Team of Summer Park MAT are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join the team within Summerhill Academy, on a fixed term basis due to the substantive post holder going on maternity leave. The post, will present the successful candidate with the opportunity to give the best possible learning opportunities to all the children that attend. We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic teacher who can ensure all children gain from every activity they do and join our team of dedicated and hardworking staff who are committed to developing the whole child and ensuring that they achieve their full potential.

Summerhill Academy is part of the Summer Park Multi Academy Trust along with Jubilee Park Academy and Little Treasures Children Centre. It has state of the art technology, making them schools for the 21st century.

Summer Park MAT and Jubilee Park Academy are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks including Enhanced DBS checks as well as other necessary pre-employment checks, including: Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.  All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references.

Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for the class teacher post.

Although in the main the successful applicant will be based at Summerhill Academy you may be required to work across both academies should the need arise.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role’
