We are seeking a team leader to join and lead our small, well established and highly regarded Behaviour Support Team. The successful applicant will provide advice, guidance and training to enable schools and educational settings to effectively meet the needs of children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
In addition, the post has an allowance to cover an element of leadership and team development.
The team is traded and the post requires the ability to maintain a flexible, client focused approach to dealing with school staff and the concerns they raise.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and knowledgeable teacher with demonstrable skills and experience supporting the needs of children with challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties.
The team has an established training portfolio, and the successful candidate will be required to deliver training to groups of teaching staff, with a clear, approachable and engaging style. Knowledge of ‘Team Teach’ would be an advantage.
