Intelligence, Performance and Analysis Officer – Stoke on Trent & Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board (SSSCB)

Salary:  £36,876 - £40,760 per annum

37 Hours per week – Fixed Term Until November 2020

Location: Staffordshire

The Intelligence, Performance and Analysis Officer will be required to take the lead responsibility for intelligence, data, performance and analysis across the children’s system and feedback to relevant stakeholders in a clear and consistent way. They will be required to work across the children and families system to co-ordinate, develop and hold to account Intelligence, Performance and Analysis to improve the outcomes of children, young people and families. It is also expected that this role will be pivotal in the development of strategic district meetings where intelligence and performance will be at the forefront.

Alongside this it is expected this role will support the SSSCB Manager with future vision for the team.

This role will be required to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners in supporting the SSSCB to:

  • understand the needs of Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire children, young people and their families;
  • translate those needs into definable outcomes;
  • enable the delivery of outcomes within available resources to achieve best value for money; 
  • performance manage the process and outcomes of effective performance and intelligence led systems
  • Create the methodology and tools for the completion of data collection
  • Responsible for the development and production of performance reports across the children and families system
  • Responsibility for statutory reporting
