The Role

We are looking for an experienced SENDCO with National Qualification for SEN.
You will be enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate about enabling all children to achieve their full potential and support the team in ‘making a difference’.

We invite applications from those seeking either a full time post to include teaching in KS1 including two days SENDCO time, or a two day SENDCO post only.

In the first instance, this is a maternity cover, for up to one year. Commencement date 1st January 2020 – but can be negotiated.

Pay Scale: Main scale to UPS – depending on experience, plus SEN allowance within the national range depending on experience (£2209 - £4359).

You must be able to demonstrate:
• impressive teaching skills and a range of behaviour management strategies
• an enthusiasm to work with children
• first class communication skills, at all levels
• a willingness to reflect on your own practice and improve as necessary
• the ability to work as part of a team
• a commitment to ensuring that all children who you teach succeed.
