The Role
SITE MANAGER (52 weeks)
Monday to Friday – 30 hour split shift contract
(7:00 – 10:00am & 3:00 – 6.00pm)
Pay range: BAND D points 4-5 (£18,426 - £18,795 FTE Pro rata)
Required for January 2020.
Key Requirements
The Governors and Head Teacher are seeking to appoint a Site Manager to join our team.
You must:
-Have the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels and represent the school when dealing with contractors and suppliers.
-Be a committed, self-motivated, well-organised, reliable, punctual person who has excellent attendance and shows integrity.
-Ensure the school building is well maintained and be skilled in carrying out reactive repair and maintenance work across all areas of the site (DIY skills are advantageous).
-Take responsibility for the daily running of all site related matters including the provision of maintenance, janitorial, cleaning and security services.
-Be able to resolve problems as they arise, prioritising tasks as required, work under own initiative and take pride in all of your work.
-Have a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation and COSHH regulations, linked Risk Assessments and how they relate to school sites.
