An exciting opportunity has arisen within the HR Information Systems (HRIS) Team for a HR Data Analyst. The team are responsible for supporting the University’s Agresso (Unit4) HR, ServiceNow and e-Recruitment systems.

Following the delivery of a service improvement plan, the Directorate has made a commitment to improve its processes through the increased use of IT and Data Analytics.

The Data Analyst will lead the reporting function of the HRIS team, and support the wider Human Resources team by utilising and reporting on workforce data to provide valuable insights.

You will take responsibility for the design and development of a standard set of HR reports, leveraging the reporting functionality across the HR systems. This will include developing dashboards in Agresso, Excel and other data visualisation tools (e.g.Tableau) for distribution to key stakeholders.

Educated to degree level standard or equivalent or possessing relevant system and reporting experience, you must have previous experience of using corporate HR systems within a large, complex organisation.  Experience of extracting, manipulating and analysing data in a variety of applications (e.g Excel, Access, Tableau, Business Objects) is essential.  Strong presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal would be a significant advantage.

You will also be expected to demonstrate a proactive and professional approach, have the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
