HR Systems Developer

£28,332 - £30,942 pa

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created role within the HR Information Systems (HRIS) Team for a HR Systems Developer. The team are responsible for supporting the University’s Agresso (Unit4) HR, ServiceNow and e-Recruitment systems.

Following the delivery of a service improvement plan, the Directorate has made a commitment to improve its processes through the increased use of Information Systems and Data Analytics.

You will take the lead on a range of initiatives which are consistent with supporting the ongoing aims of the service improvement plan. Work will also be carried out collaboratively with other key partners internally who either share the Agresso system platform and information (particularly Payroll and Finance) or who have an interest in staff data/management information outputs.

You will possess excellent IT skills, and have significant experience of working with SQL, HTML, CSS and scripting languages.

Experience of working within the education sector and in developing database driven applications, particularly the ServiceNow system would be advantageous.

You will also be expected to demonstrate a proactive and professional approach, have the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be enthusiastic and able to work independently.
