Job Details

The Board of Directors from Inspire Education Trust are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer to a newly created Central Team, required to start as soon as possible.

Inspire Education Trust is a Multi Academy Trust currently comprising of five primary schools with imminent plans for a Secondary to join us.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team ensuring robust financial processes for academies within the Trust. This is a role where you will assist the Head of Finance in producing reports and monthly management accounts. You will have the opportunity to drive forward change, initiatives and best practice working with office staff at academy level.

The post holder will be required to work both centrally (based at Hearsall Academy) and at the academies within the Trust.

If you have high standards, are hardworking and reliable, we have an excellent opportunity for you to play an integral role in assisting to manage the finance processes within our Trust.

We are looking for a strong finance professional who has a proven record of accomplishment in managing financial processes within a school / academy setting or who has the transferrable skills and who has:

• An understanding of the Academies Financial Handbook
• Understanding and knowledge of financial processes and controls
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
• Line management experience
• Ability to work under pressure and to original and tight deadlines
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience of working with computerised financial systems
• Ability to be flexible and to adapt to change
