Job Details

The historic town of Kidderminster is looking for an enthusiastic and committed BID manager, keen to establish the new Kidderminster Business Improvement District (BID) established in June 2019, to improve the business potential of the town over the next 5 years.

Kidderminster has huge potential, a great central location with excellent shopping and leisure offers, pubs and restaurants as well as being home to the nationally renowned Severn Valley Railway.

However, Kidderminster is facing similar challenges to many High Streets around the UK as traditional shopping and leisure habits change. A number of new developments are taking place in and around the town centre which makes this is an exciting time to launch the Kidderminster BID and appoint a manager to deliver the BID programme to realise the Towns true potential.

The Kidderminster BID Manager will provide a unique opportunity for the right person to work with the Kidderminster business community to drive through the improvements needed to help guarantee the economic vibrancy of the town.

The Kidderminster BID Manager will be responsible for the management and strategic direction of the Kidderminster BID Ltd and deliver the exciting initiatives outlined in the business plan.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects combined with experience of working with a range of stakeholders in order to achieve success and change. This high profile role will suit someone who likes to make things happen and enjoys the challenge of working on a variety of projects that will make a real difference.

The employer for this position will be the Kidderminster BID Company

For more information about the Kidderminster BID and a job description and person specification please contact: Rosalyn Darby (Chairman BID) on 07971823660

Please send a CV and supporting letter to: ros.darby7@gmail.com by November 26th 2019.

Please note that we will only contact applicants shortlisted for interview.
