Job Details
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Planning Enforcement Team to lead on a series of special projects.
Three key projects have been identified on which you will lead including a review of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) within the Council’s Article 4 area to ascertain whether they are authorised in planning terms and if not to secure a remedy.
Working alongside other Development Management colleagues you will make an important contribution towards protecting the district from unauthorised development.
In this high profile role, you will need excellent customer service and investigative skills, the ability to use tact and diplomacy in difficult situations and to work under pressure. You will also require excellent IT skills.
You will need a car to undertake your duties for which mileage can be claimed.
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Rajinder Reddi, Planning Enforcement Manager on 01926 456520.

The district boasts historic castles and buildings with regency architecture, vibrant town centres hosting a lively calendar of events, as well as beautiful parks and gardens.
