Cleaner in Charge - Summerhill Academy

The Governing Body of Summerhill Academy wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, happy and hardworking Cleaner in Charge to join our cleaning and site team.

The general duties will include ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Academy and that security is maintained at all times to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the Academy premises.

Amongst other things, as the Cleaner in Charge you will be expected to act as a key holder in the absence of the Site Manager, which can involve early morning openings and late-night closings.  You will be responsible for the allocation of cleaning duties in conjunction with the Site Manager.  You will also be responsible for the monitoring of the cleaning standards of the cleaners and to allocate their daily work.  We are therefore seeking applications from those with experience of management/team leading. 

You will need to be fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job; possess good individual and team skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations and challenges. 

Are you reliable, hardworking, take pride in your work and able to work unsupervised and be able to start work as soon as possible?

The hours are Monday to Friday from 2.30pm until 6.30pm. 

Summerhill Academy is part of the Summer Park Multi Academy Trust along with Jubilee Park Academy and Little Treasures Children Centre. It has state of the art technology, making them schools for the 21^st century.

Hours:

20 hours per week 52 weeks (Monday to Friday from 2.30pm until 6.30pm)

Grade:

Band B SCP 2-4 (£9.18 - £9.55 per hour)
