We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Performance Supervisor to join our Mental Health Team who are responsible for people experiencing mental ill-health, with a diagnosis of autism and undertake Mental Health Act assessments.

Across the country, councils are facing the challenge of providing the right care and support to growing numbers of people with limited resources.  As more people need care and support to enjoy a good life, the resources within available budgets are reduced.  As part of its offer to its residents, Solihull Council wants to make the best use of its resources to deliver services to meet the growing needs of the local population in ways that are effective and represent value for money.

As a Quality and Performance Supervisor you will play a vital role in ensuring that the ‘Solihull Offer’ is delivered  by working with the teams responsible for undertaking assessments and in care and support planning.  Working with our Managers and Quality Performance colleagues you will be responsible for managing a dedicated administration team and tasked with driving continuous improvement across the service.  You will achieve this through the development of operating systems to ensure that high quality performance, team and, financial information is recorded and maintained.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of analysing and interpreting data to identify areas for training and development.
  • Experience of developing and implementing systems as part of continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience of team management, supervision and training of staff
  • Effective problem solving skills with the ability to negotiate successful outcomes with a range of stakeholders.
  • Confidence in the use of IT with the ability to use a wide range of computer packages.
