£29,343 - £33,464 per annum

This is a 9-month secondment opportunity open to existing Walsall Council employees only.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the corporate Learning and Development Team as a Training Officer for a period of up to 9 months.

We are looking for someone with a passion for training, who can support with:

  • Designing and delivering learning events for a wide range of audiences
  • Design and delivery of team development days
  • Undertaking research to ensure currency of our learning events
  • Commissioning of external trainers
  • Evaluating learning
  • Conducting Learning Needs Analyses
  • Maximising use of our e-learning platform
  • Implementation of the Council’s One Source system (Learn and Talent modules)

You should:

  • Have some previous experience of delivering training/presentations
  • Have the confidence and enthusiasm to deliver presentations
  • Enjoy researching information
  • Be confident in the use of technology
  • Have a passion for sharing your skills and knowledge with others
