This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated teacher to join our school, which was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (October 2013) and ‘Outstanding’ by the Diocese (March 2018).

The role

All Saints CE (VC) First School is situated in North Staffordshire in the village of Standon, within a few miles of Stone, Eccleshall and Newcastle.  We are a small, rural village school with 55 pupils on role and a governor run nursery.  The Governors are seeking to appoint a creative and dynamic teacher for our mixed Reception and Nursery class.

Our school plays a key role in the local community and has a warm, family atmosphere with a strong Christian ethos.  We are looking for an innovative and motivated team member who can deliver creative teaching and inspire a love of learning in our children.

If you are an EYFS teacher looking to join an enthusiastic staff we are keen to hear from you. The governors would welcome applications from teachers who have the vision and drive to contribute to the life of the school and who will help raise standards of achievement and aspiration.

We can offer you:

  • a friendly, welcoming community which values everyone
  • happy, confident and very well behaved pupils who enjoy working hard
  • hardworking, dedicated and friendly staff
  • dedicated Governors who take an active role in school leadership
  • a focused leadership team who provide structured CPD
  • supportive and caring parents/guardians who share the strong vision of the school
  • a commitment to your on-going professional development
  • opportunities for subject leadership

Visits to the school are positively encouraged.  For an informal discussion and to arrange a visit please contact the school on 01782 791234 or email headteacher@allsaints-standon.staffs.sch.uk

Candidates should state clearly their strengths, experience in EYFS, demonstrate a passion for teaching and recognise the importance of working as part of a team.

Applications

To apply for this post please download the application form below, making reference to the Person Specification.

All applications should be submitted directly to the school, preferably via email, to Mrs Vicki Bradley (headteacher@allsaints-standon.staffs.sch.uk) or alternatively our postal address can be found on the school website.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form.
