Caretaker/Site Supervisor

The Role

Within this role, the successful candidate will be expected to work a split-shift work pattern to ensure the opening and closing of the school; carry out a programme of maintenance of the school; respond to ad hoc maintenance needs; conduct testing of security and water systems; maintaining the swimming pool; lead the team of cleaners and work both independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Hours: 37 hours per week, split shifts, 52 weeks per year including some evenings and occasional weekends.

Key Requirements

Relevant experience as a caretaker or applicants with a maintenance background would be an advantage.
