Abbey Hill School & College is foundation special school for children aged 3-19 years with learning difficulties, communication & interaction difficulties and/or Autistic Spectrum Conditions

We are seeking to employ an experienced leader to oversee the operational running of our primary department. The Department Lead will be a member of the organisation’s middle leadership team, playing a key role in school improvement and promoting high standards of education.  

Ideally, you will have primary / SEND leadership experience and a proven track record of curriculum implementation, management of staff, and improving performance.

As a TLR holder, you will be an outstanding practitioner, acting as a role model for your colleagues.

In return, you will join a dedicated staff team within an organisation that is pupil focused and striving to build on its current success. In addition, you will receive an extensive CPD package, an allocated coach, and the support required to grow in your new role.
