Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Support Worker - Worcestershire
Various options available - between 14 and 37.5 hours
£25,951 pro rata to hours worked
WMRSASC has a vacancy for a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Support Worker.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and young people and have an understanding of the nature and impact of sexual violence and experience of working with survivors. They will be required to work within a multi-agency setting to provide a specialist sexual violence support service to children and young people aged 5 years and over who are at risk of or who have experienced child sexual exploitation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist CSE educational materials to children and young people, as well as external professionals.
- Provide psychosocial and practical support for children and young people who are at risk or who have experienced CSE.
- Provide practical and emotional support to children and young people and their carers through the criminal justice process.
- Risk assess and help children and young people keep safe.
- Support children and young people to access their rights.
- Support children and young people to access health and other services they require.
- Implement risk reduction and protective behaviour strategies.
- Consider and respond to child safeguarding issues when engaging with all children and young people.
- Participate in individual clinical supervision, appraisal sessions and team meetings.
- Participate in group work facilitation.
- Provide information about the impacts of sexual violence and signposting to specialist support services.
