HPS Care Kindergarten Deputy Manager and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Hagley Kindergarten is an Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ setting that offers children from the age of 3 years the opportunity to have fun, achieve and learn through play in a safe, caring and stimulating environment that promotes British values.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager with a passion for working with children. The successful candidate will have experience working in an early years setting, preferably in a management role and will have an excellent understanding of safeguarding and the role of Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

We are also looking for someone who:

• Has a hands-on approach and is happy to take an active role working with the children in the setting
• Is a strong communicator and is able to form positive working relationships with individuals and organisations including colleagues, Directors, Ofsted and other professionals
• Has excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise team workloads, patterns and priorities in order to effectively meet the settings objectives and deadlines, often under pressure
• Can inspire and motivate a team and foster a positive working culture
• Is innovative and resilient
• Has good ICT skills and is quick to learn new systems
• Has office administration experience

Salary: £11.50 p/h                    

Hours: 20-25 hours per week (term time only) to include Monday and Wednesday afternoons
