ICT Project Support Officer – Ref RT72319
Salary G5 £20,143-£23,600  per annum (plus excellent employee benefits)
This is a Fixed Term position for 18 months

Walsall Council is transforming how it works, during this transition additional Project support capacity is needed to assist the introduction of new ways of working. 

We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to support the Programme and Project Team in the successful delivery of ICT programmes and projects and to ensure Walsall Council continues to have an ICT infrastructure fit for the future. 

Working as a key member of the ICT Programme Management Office, you will support the team to deliver successful design, planning and delivery of council wide technology change projects including management of business case and project initiation and management to achieve benefit realisation including efficiencies and savings. 

Your will assist with the:

  • development of project plans, including capture and tracking of data
  • with the capture and review of risks, issues, outcomes and benefits.
  • in providing support to and assist with the delivery of small to medium sized ICT projects in accordance with best practice methodology.
