Brandhall Primary School is a two-form entry primary school with provision for children from the age of 2. The Board of Governors are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Learning Support Assistants to work as 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs. The post will initially be in the Early Years department, but the candidate will need to be prepared to work in any year group.

We want a dynamic individual with a good knowledge and understanding of SEND to join our dedicated team. The role will start as soon as possible, subject to clearances and notice periods.

You will need:
• An excellent attendance record.
• An enthusiastic attitude to working 1:1 with an SEN child.
• Experience and knowledge of working with children.
• A professional attitude to work.
• NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent qualification
• Experience and understanding of working in Early Years.
• To enjoy working with all children aged between 2 and 11.
• To be able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake training, as required.
