The Role

As a Deputy Catering Manager, you will assist the Catering Manager with all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen hygiene supervision and other duties associated with the running of the academy’s kitchen. You are someone who has a good standard of customer service and has a good understanding of COSSH, Health and Safety and relevant policies. You will be required to deputise for the Catering Manager as and when needed. You will instruct and ensure all catering assistants are following rotas and health and safety policies in order to make sure the kitchen is running smoothly. This job involves working as a team and undertaking relevant training as and when required.

The Individual

You will ideally have catering experience within a school environment. You are someone who understands the difference a great education can make to pupils lives, as you are a great role model for not only them but other members of staff too. You enjoy being part of a great team and you have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student.
