Guild Advice provides free, confidential and impartial advice and representation to students in 4 key areas – academic, housing, finance and welfare.
As an Education & Welfare Advisor you will respond to student enquiries, research and advise through casework, and make referrals where necessary to appropriate specialist agencies within the University or externally. Also responsible for the frontline delivery of Guild Advice, you will be customer service focused, and capable of working on multiple projects.
You will have experience of working in an advice centre, providing face-to-face support and ongoing case work for clients. The successful applicant will be confident at dealing with issues relating to wellbeing and welfare, and knowledge and experience of case work is essential.
