The Inspirational Learning Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner to work on a one to one basis with a child with Special Educational Needs based at Whitifield Valley Primary Academy.  This contract will be temporary from 1st January 2020 until 31/08/2020 in the first instance.  32.5 hrs/week.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Support the class teacher to deliver high quality programmes of learning specifically to support the child concerned.
  • Work with small groups of children on specific interventions/strategies and be able to demonstrate their impact to promote independence for the child concerned.
  • Mark and assess the child’s work and develop individual plans to aid progress.
  • The post holder will hold a relevant NVQ 3 qualification.

  • Join an outstanding friendly team within a multi academy trust
