Sytchampton is a happy, successful and thriving rural primary school which sits on the A449 between Worcester and Kidderminster.  It is over-subscribed since converting from a first to a primary school in September 2015.  The current Head has been in post since April 2013 and has developed a staff team who have moved the school forward and maintained results that are consistently above the national average.  
Due to her retirement, we are now seeking a new leader to maintain the school’s unique characteristics and community.
We are looking for a confident and caring individual who:
 Has proven leadership skills and an understanding of teamwork in a small school  Will develop the school’s ethos of achieving high academic standards while still allowing for creativity and enrichment within the curriculum  Is responsible for daily management of the school with some cover teaching when required  Is forward looking, proactive by evaluating research and working collaboratively
 Has an understanding of the demands of small schools and their commitments
