Children's Lunchtime Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic Children's Lunchtime Supervisor to become part of our supportive, friendly and committed team. The post holder will assist with lunchtimes, supporting children while they are eating their lunch and supervising them outside.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children
• Is polite and able to develop positive relationships with children
• Is able to speak to children sensitively
• Is able to work as part of a team – listening to others, sharing ideas, being helpful to one another
• Is sensible and able to use their initiative

The post will involve setting up and putting away tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping floors therefore anyone applying will need to be aware of the physical aspects of the post.

No formal qualifications are necessary but Food Hygiene and First Aid Certificates would be useful. Training will be provided for these.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced Criminal Record check.
