Walsall Children's Services invite you to join us in our exciting transformation journey. If you are committed to working with families in a relational way and like us want to re-connect with the community in which our families live then we would like to hear from you!

Walsall have been undergoing a transformation both in the way we deliver services and the structures of some of our teams, to ensure that children receive the Right Help at the Right Time. Our use of restorative practices are deepening and bringing about a transformation in our approach to improving outcomes for the most vulnerable in our local population.

We have also been successful in  securing DfE funding to implement the Family Safeguarding Model, which is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Childrens workforce that is  focused on strengthening families and improving outcomes.  This includes increased opportunities to undertake direct work with children and work within a whole family approach.

If you would like to be part of this journey please take a look at the roles we have available!

As the Assistant Team Manager in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, you will work with the Team Manager to ensure high quality practice and effective performance, and appropriate and timely intervention for children and young people in Walsall by working collaboratively to understand and improve children’s lived experiences and protect them from harm.
