The Governors of this Church of England academy are seeking to appoint a teacher who believes nurturing children as individual characters, acquiring values which equip pupils to work with others in contributing to something larger than themselves. Additio0nally our new colleague will believe in the interconnectedness of knowledge and skills, which demonstrating that the former is grounded and applied effectively through the latter.

The post is within both Humanities as well as Spiritual & Social Education (Religious Studies and PSHE). The appointment is to teach across KS2 and KS3, and across all ability ranges to start as soon as possible until August 2020. The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons (both departments have detailed schemes of work) and engaging pupils with activities that challenge and excite. The successful candidate will demonstrate consistently high standards of teaching and excellent classroom management, drawing on the positive behaviour of our pupils.
