About us
Warwickshire County Council has a successful and highly regarded formal partnership agreement with Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT), so that we can jointly deliver integrated mental health services. Our staff are employed by the Council, but ‘seconded’ to the NHS Trust. Specialist community mental health support is provided within multi-disciplinary teams, which recognise the centrality of social interventions to the wellbeing of people with complex mental health needs.
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive practitioners to work within our North Warwickshire Psychosis Service which includes a Recovery and an Early Intervention Team. The second post is in the South of the county to work with our Crisis Team and Well-being service.
The Role
Within this service you will play a lead role in delivering the Council's statutory responsibilities and objectives in relation to individuals who have needs arising from psychosis and severe mental distress and psychological difficulties. You will professionally supervise social workers and AMHPs to ensure that excellent standards of practice are attained in accordance with the Professional Capabilities Framework.
In promoting a social model of recovery within the Service you will be expected to work closely with the team manager and all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
