We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Assistant Head Teacher who will be responsible for developing the quality of teaching and learning. This is a non-class based role that has a small teaching commitment.

St George’s C of E Academy Newtown is part of the Birmingham Diocese Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT. We are a rapidly growing single form-entry mixed primary school, with two form entry intake from Reception to Year Four.

The post is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an existing assistant head teacher or who is aspiring to leadership and has a passion for rapidly improving the academic and lifelong skills of all students.

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and possess the skills and determination to make a significant differencing the lives of our students. The ability to motivate the students and colleagues through inspirational teaching and learning is essential.
