Level 7 Professional Accountant Apprentice – Ref RT72819
£9 per hour Higher and Degree Apprentice rate.
Do you have a passion and interest in developing a career in finance? Are you willing to work towards a level 7 qualification while gaining hands on experience?
If so then we have a great opportunity for two level 7 Professional Accountant Apprentices to gain skills, experience and knowledge in a busy finance service whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
As an apprentice you will:
- work alongside experienced staff
- gain job-specific skills
- earn a wage and get holiday pay
- study towards a related qualification
Finance is a highly skilled profession, with staff working at many different levels. Our aim is to support individuals to work toward a level 7 professional accountant apprenticeship whilst providing an opportunity to gain the job related skills required in support of this.
The posts are for a fixed term of 3 years, and will be paid for 37 hours per week (which would be split between working in the office and attending a training provider to undertake training). In addition costs relating to the provision of the training will be met by Walsall Council.
We are looking for motivated individuals willing to undertake a Level 7 apprenticeship. You will have a minimum of 3 GCSE’s (including Maths and English), and 2 A Levels or equivalent, or a level 4 finance apprentice qualification.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.
