Glenthorne Community Primary School is a successful and growing primary school, minutes from junction 11 of the M6.   We now have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate practitioner committed to raising standards. Glenthorne Community Primary School is looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work across whole school supporting in class and with intervention programmes. The right candidate will be a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate practitioner committed to raising standards. They should have previous experience of working in school together with an excellent knowledge of how children learn and the empathy and determination required to ensure that they succeed.

We would like to appoint a talented, experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team who will play a key role in helping our good school to become outstanding. They will support the existing intervention programme and further raise standards across the phase working under the direction of an outstanding phase leader.

We need a teaching assistant who:

• is a committed practitioner who strives to do the best for the pupils they work with;

• has good behaviour management skills and enjoys working with children;

• is innovative, flexible and a good team player.
