Senior Planning Officer (Enforcement) - Ref: EE48219
£32,552 - £37,475 per annum
This post will deal with a workload of planning enforcement matters including site visits, meetings, negotiations, preparation of recommendations, written reports, statements and correspondence as well as monitoring development to ensure compliance with permissions, major planning applications and other types of applications. You will assist in the preparation of reports to Committee and in accordance with the Council’s scheme of delegation to the Head of Planning and Building Control for planning applications, planning briefs and other related matters relating to the implementation of development sites. Duties will also include:
- Dealing with planning enforcement and related matters, major and other types of planning applications
- Playing a key role in ensuring the delivery of major and other development projects
- Contributing to the development of plans, policies and procedures suitable to deliver an excellent Development Management Service
