Teaching Assistant for Foundation Stage (Nursery)
Term time only; 30 hours per week (temporary to cover maternity leave)
Required from 6th January 2020
Level 3 Pt 5 £9.74 per hour

We require a well-qualified and ambitious EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning in our nursery, catering for children between the ages of 2 - 4.

The successful candidate will:

• Have an excellent understanding and knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Have confidence and enthusiasm to lead 1:1 and group activities.
• Know how to enhance children’s language and communication skills through play-based activities.
• Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with.
• Have the potential to support and develop less experienced members of staff.

You will have a good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths to Grade C and NVQ Level 3 minimum. Experience of working in a school setting is desirable.
