The Role

Nicholas Chamberlaine School is a vibrant, exciting, innovative and mixed 11-18 school with 1200 students. Science Technician from January 2019
Band E - Points 5 - 6 (Fte: £18,795 - £19,171)
(32.5 hours: £14,076 - £14,358 pro rata) pay award pending
Flexibility to work between 8.00 am - 4.00 pm


Key Requirements

Qualifications and experience:
• Have a minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grades A-C
Skills and abilities:
• Be highly articulate in speech and writing
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Exercise initiative and independent action
• Be able to apply your knowledge and understanding across the whole age and ability range, in supporting teaching, learning and development of students
Values and commitment:
• Believe that all children can achieve a grade 4 regardless of their ability or background
• Be committed to developing the horizons of students through involvement in enrichment and extra-curricular activities
• Be committed to the school and Trust’s vision for Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement and believe that you have something valuable to add
