We need someone able to promote the city of Coventry as a destination of distinction for conferencing and leisure / business tourism to capitalise on being UK City of Culture 2021 and a host city for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.  Our aim is to maximise the benefits to Coventry’s visitor economy of our chance to shine.  We are already seeing increased interest in the market particularly linked to City of Culture, and are seeking someone who can build, support and sustain relationships with key conferencing, exhibition and business stakeholders.  You will be working closely with local conferencing venues, hoteliers, tourism offers across the region, national tourism bodies and the hospitality sector).
