Teaching Support Assistant – KS2

Hours: 30.83 hours during term time (8.35am-3.15pm Mon-Fri)

Maternity Cover: from 06/01/2020 until 31/08/2020

The Meadows Primary Academy is a thriving, successful school in the heart of the city.  We have around 400 pupils aged 3-11 on roll and our modern school is set in extensive grounds in a surprisingly peaceful environment.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in KS2 to both support the class teacher, and support SEN children on a one to one basis.  The role includes working alongside the class teacher to help deliver stimulating and fulfilling lessons as well as working with smaller groups of children from that class to deliver high impact interventions.  The role will also include working one to one supporting some of our SEN children with a range of learning and behavioural needs, so experience of dealing with challenging behaviour will be required in order to be successful in the role.
