The Role
If you are a highly organised, motivated and pro-active person who has a proven track record of multi-tasking to a high standard then we want to hear from you! You’ll be a confident self-starter who is capable of undertaking a hands on role in a busy Maintained Nursery School environment, making the ability to prioritise your workload and keep calm under pressure, key. You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the Nursery School’s administrative and clerical procedures.
You’ll also provide crucial operational support to the Executive Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth and effective running and development of the school. Handling sensitive data and upholding confidentiality is a vital part of this role, and you will therefore be able to demonstrate professional integrity and trustworthiness together with all other essential criteria listed in the person specification.
Key Requirements
-Proven track record of multi-tasking to a high standard;
-Confident self-starter;
-Excellent communication skills, oral and written;
-Excellent organisational skills;
-Ability to prioritise workload and keep calm under pressure;
-Proven track record of effective relationship; management and stakeholder engagement;
-Experience of managing office administrative, clerical and operational procedures;
-Ability to demonstrate professional integrity and trustworthiness;
-Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils through day to day vigilance and a positive approach to working with children;
-Working knowledge and application of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
-NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) or evidence of equivalent knowledge and experience in a relevant discipline;
-Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths and grade A-C
