37 hours per week – Permanent
A vacancy has arisen for a Legal Officer (Grade 7) to work in the Property and Development Team.
The postholder’s primary task will be to deal with applications under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 with supervision from more senior Officers in the Team by:
- Perusal of applications and the supporting evidence and any subsequent investigations and research and the drafting of reports to the Countryside and Rights of Way Panel
- Presentation of the reports to Panel for a decision and ensuring decisions are made into Orders;
- Undertaking such other case related tasks as may be required;
- Undertaking Legal and other research.
