Manor Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated Finance and Administrative Officer to manage the financial operations of the Academy.

A brief outline of the duties will be to -

  • Place orders for all supplies and services
  • Process invoices
  • Work to the financial timetable
  • Assist in the collection and recording of money from students, staff and parents, issuing receipts and following guidelines
  • Ensure all Financial Regulations and Audit requirements are met at all times
  • Processing the schools Petty Cash forms
  • To follow all agreed school policies and procedures
  • To support the Office Manager with any administrative work as required
  • To be involved in the year end shut down and start up in conjunction with the MAT Central Team
  • Liaise with the School and MAT staff to ensure school compliance with statutory returns to the ESFA
  • Liaise with Audit, Payroll and contractors/suppliers to sort out queries
  • Any other duties as commensurate within the grade in order to ensure the smooth running of the school.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a school financial setting and be competent in the use of the Access Finance system (although training can be provided).  They will also have substantial experience in using excel for complex spreadsheets and have exceptional attention to detail as well as being well organised.
