Digital Marketing and Events Officer

Salary:  £31,371- £35,934 per annum

 37 Hours per week – Permanent

An exciting opportunity exists in the Make it Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Investment Service for a digital marketing and events specialist. The service is a joint partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the team provides a tailor-made service for businesses relocating and expanding in the area. This includes support to help businesses establish their operation in the area as well as on-going support.  The Make it Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Investment Service consists of a number of advisors who can support companies to identify commercial property, co-ordinate site visits and area tours, advise on grants and incentives, support in relation to skills, training, salary levels and recruitment costs and assist with industry and market research. Ultimately the team aim to support the creation and safeguarding of jobs, assist in generating investment and contributing to the economic growth of the area.

We are looking to significantly develop our strategy and approach to digital marketing and events. We have a bespoke website and presence on social media platforms and are looking to appoint someone with high level digital skills, experience, creativity and imagination to drive this forward increasing traffic to the website and raising the profile of the service.

We hold a number of commercial property related events locally throughout the year and also exhibit at MIPIM in Cannes, France. The successful candidate will have some event management experience and will provide event management support to build on the success of these events.
