The Sutton Hill Community Trust, Telford Mind and Court Street Medical Practice work with some of the most vulnerable people within our communities. The coming together of these organisations means that we are able to reach more people and support them better within their own communities.

All of the organisations are at the forefront of looking at alternative health and wellbeing provision for people and ensuring that their services are available at the right time in the right place. The use of community buildings and assets means that people feel more comfortable and are more responsive to the interventions offered. All of the organisations have a strong background in delivering innovative health and  wellbeing projects and are always looking at new approaches so that the people we work with receive high quality support.

Community Sport & Health Officer Apprenticeship Level 3
Scale 3 £18,795 - £19,171
37 Hours per week
Fixed term 16 - 20 Month Contract

 

You're aged 16 plus and interested in starting a career with the Council, perhaps looking for your first job after leaving school or college. You will combine work with studying, working towards achieving nationally recognised qualifications while gaining valuable skills and practical experience. Fixed term for 16 - 20 months 37 hour week

If you hold a degree you will be eligible for an apprenticeship at any level, however the apprenticeship must provide you with substantive new skills, you must be able to evidence that the content of the training is materially different from any prior qualification or apprenticeship

As a team member, you will work under the instruction / guidance of the team leader to undertake work.

You will study for a Level 3 in Community Sport and Health.

The apprenticeship content will be tailored to suit the tasks you will be doing in your day to day work and you will receive support and guidance in building a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence in the workplace. 

If you are successful you will be required to undertake a Standard/Enhanced DBS check. (Only if applicable)
