The Brewhouse is a vibrant arts centre in the heart of Burton upon Trent. We are home to a 230 seat theatre space as well as a whole host of dance, drama and art studios and a 50 seat cinema. We offer a varied programme for all ages, including a range of workshops and events. The Brewhouse is home to bDance; offering a programme of weekly classes for all ages across East Staffordshire, as well as Youth Dance Companies in Burton and Uttoxeter.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed casual dance tutor to join our team to deliver dance and creative workshops in the Brewhouse and in schools and community settings as part of the Brewhouse participation and audience development programme. You will also assist in the further development of the bDance youth dance companies performance opportunities and supporting materials.

You should have strong organisational skills, be confident, professional, enthusiastic and energetic. Able to work unsocial hours, ie evenings and weekends and hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle. A degree or equivalent in specialist dance training is desirable along with evidence of ongoing professional development.

Previous experience of teaching dance to a wide range of age groups and abilities is essential and experience of co-ordinating.

The hours of work are on a casual basis including weekends and evenings.
